MINUTF,S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 27, 2002 <br />WORKSHOP Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />12ELATED TO <br />MARKET RF.SOI,UTION NO. 2002-2-46 - RE.'SCIIEDUL/NG THE WORKSHOP <br />PLACE TO CONSIDER MARKET PLACE DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS FOR <br />DEVELOPMENT WEDNESDAY, MARCI/ 13, 2002 SIT 6:30 P. M. <br />OPTIONS <br />The Foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Montour, Scalze, Anderson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2002 GOALS It was the consensus of the Council to review and discuss the 2002 Goal <br />Setting Report at their March 13°i meeting. <br />USED TRACTOR/ The City Administrator reported that the agenda item relative to the <br />LOADER purchase of a used tractor/loader has been removed from the agenda pending <br />additional information. <br />IiARDSHIP The City Attorney reviewed State Statute relative to the issue of hardship <br />ISSUE noting that it relates to the reasonable use oi'the property that exists under the <br />terms of the ordinance. He noted that State L,aw indicates that economic <br />consideration alone cannot constitute an undue hardship. <br />The Council discussed the Statute with the City Attorney, with the Attorney <br />indicating that if there is any reasonable use of the property, even though it <br />might be an expensive one, then there would be no taking of the property on <br />the part of the Cily if a variance request is denied. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2 110 2-2-4 7-ADJOURNING <br />fhe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by whey. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Scalze, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays (0).
