AI Mentes reported
that he has talked with his neighbors and no one seems to have a problem with
the proposed garage.
Mr. Kingstad indicated that the City Flannel's report does not take into account
the actual conditions of the neighborhood and some of the non-conforming
situations that exist.
The City Administrator suggested that if the matter is tabled, it be tabled until
the March 27°i meeting in order to give the City Attorney an opportunity to
prepare his opinion and to allow the City Planner to be present at the
discussion. The Administrator also noted that a 60-day waiver will be required
from the applicant.
Cindy Mentes agreed that they will submit a 60-day waiver to delay
consideration of this matter until the March 27°i City Council meeting.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2002-2-37 - TAEJ./NG ACT/ON ON T HE
APPLICATION FOR C'OND/TIONAL USE PERMIT FOR 36 FOOT 13Y 28
FOOT ACCESSORY GARAGE A.S REQUE,STED BY A/_ AND C7Nll Y
MENTES AT 3058 GREENER/E/Z ,STREET UNT/l.
