MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
MAY 24, 2017
DISCUSSION The Parks & Rec/Community Services Manager stated that Staff had
ABOUT PARKS additional discussions with consulting firms MSA, SEH and WSB, and his
MASTER PLAN recommendation was to go with SEH based on their ideas and comments
CONSULTANT about doing community engagement. The City Administrator stated that
he agreed with the Parks & Rec/Community Services Manager's
recommendation, and lilted that SEH had said they do not just stay in a
booth when at community events. Torkelson stated that he had seen a
conference presentation by SEH about community engagement and was
impressed with them.
Montour asked if this decision is for both the Parks Master Plan and the
on-going consulting.
