<br />From my consultations and expertise, I have provided Ericsson with further opportunities with prospective <br />clients. <br />I successfully trained Ericsson employees in India on SS7 translations in an effort to reduce costs and <br />globalize. <br />I have received several awards for my projects and consulting as well as several other customer accolades. <br />Network Engineer, 09/2009 to 11/2012 <br />Ericsson Inc – Overland Park, KS <br />This was an acquisition of talent by Ericsson from Sprint. During this activity, I had the same job and roles as my <br />previous position with Sprint. <br />Network Engineer, 08/2007 to 09/2009 <br />Sprint – St. Paul, MN <br />I managed and was responsible for Nortel, Lucent, and Plexus switches. <br />I performed all digit routing schemes to align with Sprint standards plus all SS7 translations. <br />I maintained monthly local calling areas in conjunction with Telcordia LERG along with researching least <br />cost routing. <br />I provided first line trouble support. <br />I was tasked with several special projects. <br />I was responsible for the MBI adds to the eSM. <br />I was responsible for UAT testing and requirements as we transitioned all systems and tools to a Citrix/web <br />interface. <br />I was chosen for the HLR Authentication project and also the Frontier project working with another vendor. <br />I am cross trained on several platforms including Sprint Long Distance, Nortel & Lucent CDMA, <br />Plexus/VoIP, and SS7/STPs. <br />I have received recognition for teamwork skills, focusing on customers and Do It Now imperatives. <br />Senior Translations/Switch Engineer, 09/2000 to 08/2007 <br />SCWH -Northern PCS/Sprint Affiliate – St. Cloud, MN <br />I maintained and was responsible for all the translations for Nortel DMS-100 wireless and wire-line <br />switches. <br />The scope of translations included digit routing, SS7, 911, and switch tech functions. <br />I performed DS1 and DS3 cross-connects, building and testing of PSTN trunks and SS7 routes, building <br />gateway screening for SS7, abbreviated dialing codes, and Centrex on the LEC switch. <br />My position also included switch maintenance, creating and loading cell sites on the BSC/Sun system <br />which is UNIX based. <br />I provided first line trouble support for all translations as well as switch and cell site issues.
