This plan will coordinate and be
compatible with the updated Comprehensive Plan. The draft master plan will
include all maps, diagrams, phots and tables and implementation matrix or
action plan. Additionally the plan will include concept-level plans for several
high priority park facility enhancements and an appendix with Task 1
deliverables, community survey and summaries.
4.3 – Open House
Facilitate a public open house to display and discuss the plan with
Little Canada residents and business and property owners.
TASK 5 – PUBLIC HEARING
5.1 – Presentation
Assist in presenting the draft master plan at a formal public hearing prior to
finalizing the document.
5.2 – FINAL EDITS
Execute edits per public comments and deliver the Final Park System Master
Plan to the City for adoption.
TASK 6 – ADOPTION OF PARKS MASTER PLAN
Provide final plan and supportive information to assist in adoption.
TASK 5 DELIVERABLE
• Digital files for all project deliverables complied
on a flash drive
The final master plan will identify and prioritize future
enhancements renovations or enhancements for
individual parks as well as make recommendations for
new facilities.
ROLE OF CITY IN DEVELOPING THE MASTER PLAN
Our proposed work plan, schedule and fees are predicated on successfully
collaborating with the City to keep the Park System Master Planning process
on schedule and on budget. Specifically, we anticipate the City will provide:
• Contact information for Park Master Plan Committee members.
• Assistance identifying key groups and individuals that will participate in
the focus group sessions.
• Assistance scheduling project meetings and focus group sessions.
• Announcements and space for project meetings.
• Timely review and input on project submittals.
• Necessary project related data and documents in readily usable formats.
