MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 26, 2017 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2017-7-124 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*ADOPT ORDINANCE 815, AMENDING CHAPTER 1001.060 OF <br />THE CITY CODE PERTAINING TO SUBDIVISIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AGREEMENT <br />The City Administrator stated that the solar energy rebate program is <br />WITH CEDAR <br />ending and all of the work lnust be done by the end of October. He <br />CREEK ENERGY <br />explained that there has been no success on finding an investor to <br />FOR ROOF <br />maximize the City's return, but the Council had directed that the City <br />MOUNTED SOLAR <br />would fiend the project if an investor could not be found. He explained <br />PANELS ON THE <br />that the outlay for the City is $117,500 with a projected 10 -year payback, <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />and by year 25, the City is projected to have gained an additional <br />BUILDING <br />$114,000 in energy savings. The City Administrator stated that this <br />amount would cover the design and installation. Keis stated that the City <br />has goals to become more energy efficient and he is in favor of this <br />project. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 2017-7-125 — APPROVING THE AGREEMENT WITH <br />CEDAR CREEK ENERGY TO INSTALL ROOF MOUNTED SOLAR <br />PANELS ON THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING FOR A COST OF <br />$117,500, SUBJECT TO ANY COMMENTS BY THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Aye (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
