<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Parks & Recreation Commission <br /> <br />FROM: Bryce Shearen, Parks & Recreation/Community Services Manager <br /> <br />DATE: August 31, 2017 <br /> RE: Workshop for Park Master Plan Update and Budget Prioritization <br /> <br />The intent of the workshop will be to get an update on the Parks Master Plan and for the continued <br />discussion on 2018 Capital Improvement Priorities. <br /> <br /> Mr. Robert Kost and Ms. Anna Springer from SEH will be present to give an update and more <br />specifically go through these items: <br />• Review results from Canadian Days <br />• Review results from the Online Survey <br />• Review preliminary “access to park and open space” analysis <br />• Review service standards <br />• Review and discuss applicability of current Vision Statement <br />• Introduce and review draft Guiding Principles <br /> <br />If time permits, the Commission can continue to review their priorities for the 2018 Capital <br />Improvements; otherwise, those topics will be discussed in the regular meeting that will follow. <br /> <br />Attached: SEH Canadian Days Engagement Summary <br />
