MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />July 6th, 2017 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held on <br />the 6th of July in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road East in said city. <br /> <br /> Chair Dave Miller called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the commission were present: <br /> <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Ms. Sharen Darling <br /> Mr. Dave Miller <br /> Mr. Tom Ray <br /> Mr. Peter Schletty <br /> Ms. Patti Sullivan <br /> <br />ABSENT: Ms. Rose Chu <br />Mr. Ron Horwath <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Bryce Shearen, Parks and Recreation <br />Community Services Manager <br /> Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer City Council Member <br /> Mr. Bob Kost Landscape Architect <br /> Ms. Anna Springer Landscape Architect <br /> Ms. Anna Leibel Recording Secretary <br /> Mr. Kevin Helander Cable TV Prod. <br /> <br /> <br />Ray made a motion to approve the minutes from the June meeting. Darling <br />seconded the motion. The motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br /> <br />Bob Kost reported the contract had been signed by SEH and the City, and <br />Springer and he were beginning the first phase of the process by surveying <br />the existing conditions of the parks, trails, and recreation opportunities. He <br />explained he had a meeting with the Community Services Manager and <br />the Associate Planner, and was also working with The City Administrator <br />for GIS mapping tools.
