MINUTES <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />August 2, 2017 <br />He stated additional maintenance would also be done during this time <br />including adding more culverts. <br /> <br />The City Administrator asked the Commission if they had seen the <br />Facebook post from Senator Klobuchar’s visit. He stated Senator <br />Klobuchar had visited Little Canada while gathering support for a new bill <br />to allow citizens in the United States to purchase drugs from Canada, <br />where they are sometimes much cheaper. The City Administrator stated <br />the Senator took a picture with the Mayor, and the City had posted it on <br />the Facebook page. He noted he had also asked the Senator for her help in <br />getting funding for pedestrian bridges in Little Canada. The Senator <br />explained she could help influence, but was not directly involved in the <br />funding. <br /> <br />Darling asked if the Noel Drive sidewalk from City Hall to Little Canada <br />Road would be put in this year.
