MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 11, 2017 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the l 1th day of <br />October, 2017 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Clerk Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Cable TV Tech Mr. Kevin Helander <br />MINUTES McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 017-10-181 — APPRO VING MINUTES OF THE <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 2017 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 2017 CLOSED SESSIONAS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />PUBLIC Mike Bradley, with law firm Bradley, Berkland, Hagen & Herbst, <br />HEARING — representing the North Suburban Communications Commission, stated <br />ORDINANCE 819, that the Commission has recommended approval of the franchise <br />COMCAST agreement with Comcast. He reported that there were some difficult <br />FRANCHISE issues to resolve with Comcast and this agreement is similar to the one <br />AGREEMENT with CenturyLink. He explained that the agreement term is for 10 years <br />and the franchise fee will remain at 5% of gross revenues, but there is a <br />new definition of what gross revenues will be.
