MINUTES <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />November 2, 2017 <br />The Community Services Manager reported the next Market Place <br />Morning Talk topic is a Holiday Party on November 8, at 9:30am. <br /> <br />The Community Services Manager reported basketball registration is open <br />for grades three through eight, as well as a basketball clinic and skating <br />lessons. <br /> <br />The Community Services Manager reported square dancing classes are <br />every Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and the program would run <br />through December. He noted the first class you attend is free. <br /> <br />The Community Services Manager reported senior exercise takes place <br />year round, every Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Old <br />Fire Hall. <br /> <br />The Community Services Manager reported registration is open for Driver <br />Safety classes and the cost is $10 and you are eligible for a 10 percent <br />insurance discount. <br /> <br />The Community Services Manager reported SEH would be at the next <br />meeting, and they were planning an open house for late January. <br /> <br />The Community Services Manager reported Saturday, December 8, they <br />City was planning a Cookies with Santa event, which will be advertised in <br />the newsletter.
