M]NUTP,S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 22, 2002 <br />Donovan thanked CTV 15 for the award and the financial and moral support <br />provided in the production of the video. Donovan reported that the Historical <br />Society is continuing its efforts in documenting the history of the City and <br />asked the general public to contact the Historical Society if there is anyone <br />interested in photographing the City. <br />Montour reported that the Historical Society's video is played periodically on <br />the City's cable channel and also mentioned that copies of the video are <br />available for purchase at the City Center. <br />VACATION OF Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the vacation of a sanitary sewer <br />SANITARY easement on the property that will be developed by Common Bond as an <br />Sl'rWER addition to the Garden Terrace senior housing complex. Fahey noted that <br />EAST'rMT'/NT - staff is reco~mnending that the vacation be contingent upon the dedication <br />COMMON QOND of easements as determined necessary for this project. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI_ UTION NO. 2002-5-I74 - VACA %'ING THE SANITARY SL'WER <br />EASEMENT AS RED UCSTED BY COMMON /3OND SU13./ECT TO THE <br />DFD/C`ATION OF OTHER EA.S'FMFNT.S' A.S DETERMINBU <br />APPROPRIATE /3 P CIT 3' STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Montow', Scalze, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PRCL,~MINARI' Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the Preliminary and Final <br />& RINAL PLAT - Plat for Edgewater 'fownoffice Paii< at Parl< and Rice Streets as requested <br />IJDGEWATL;R by Montanan 1-tomes. It was noted that Montanan Homes has withdrawn <br />TOWNOI:FJCI'; Cheir request for consideration of a Variance from the City's parking <br />PARK requirements. It was noted that the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the Preliminary and Final Plats subject to the previous conditions <br />stipulated as part of the PUD approval, subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner, subject to correction of the street name <br />on the plat to "Park Street", and subject to working with Mr. Anderson on the <br />screening of his house. <br />
