MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 9, 2018 <br />SUBMITTAL OF INVOICES SHOWING THAT THE WORK HAS <br />BEENDONE AND PAID FOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (1). Keis. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2018-5-100 —APPROVING THE <br />MODIFICATION, ASSIGNMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF <br />CONDITIONAL ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS AGREEMENT WITH <br />SUITE LIVING SPECIAL TY SENIOR SERVICES, LLC <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (1). Keis. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 018-5-101— ADJO URNING THE ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT A UTHORITY MEETING AND RECONVENING <br />THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />DONATION Fire Chief Smiley stated that the Fire Department started doing gambling <br />PRESENTATION in 1947 at the Old Fire Hall. He explained that the Fire Department is a <br />private nonprofit corporation that contracts with the City so they are able <br />to do charitable gambling, and the department has pledged to give half of <br />their charitable gambling proceeds to the City for the fire equipment fund. <br />Chief Smiley presented a check for $40,045.94 to be put into the City's <br />fire equipment fund. Assistant Fire Chief Boss thanked the two local <br />establishments that allow the Fire Department to run gambling at their <br />businesses; Gordies Place and the Hoggsbreath. <br />Mayor Keis thanked the Fire Department on behalf of the City and its <br />citizens for the excellent work they do and for the generous financial <br />contributions that reduce taxpayer burden. <br />
