MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 28, 2002 <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />It was noted that the Citgo Station is not included in this rezoning. Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEXT Mayor .Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider a Text Amendment <br />AMENDMENT amending the City's Ordinances to create a fifth Vehicle Retail Sales <br />c4z CUP FOR License as well as a Conditional Use Permit allowing outdoor display of <br />ADDITIONAL up to five vehicles. It was noted that the Planning Commission has <br />AUTO SALES recommended approval of the Text Amendment and the CUP. <br />LICENSES - <br />ALLEGIANCE Fahey noted that staff's research with the State Licensing Uuit has found <br />EQUIPMENT that the State will deny the retail sales license if there ai~e restrictions noted <br /> on the license form relative to there being no outdoor display of vehicles. <br /> Tim Seibel, Allegiance, agreed that one of the State's requirements for a <br /> retail sales license is that there be a display area for a minimum of five <br /> vehicles. Seibel indicated, however, that he has no intention of utilizing <br />
