Sanders pointed
out that he will review the priority listing in rank order. Sackett Glaser indicated that
the Commission based its ranking on both feasibility and criticality to the trail
system.
The first section reviewed was the Power Line Trail from Westwinds to Maple Leaf
CourC. Sanders pointed out that this section of trail could be completed easily and the
only obstacle is the crossing of LaBore Road. It was further noted that this section of
trail will link with a trail in the City of Maplewood that will be completed soon.
The second priority is the Jackson Street Trail from Little Canada Road to the
Waterworks Trail. This section of trail will complete the link to Rondeau Park, It
appears that there is sufficient right-of--way to complete the trail; however, Sanders
recommended that the property owners be contacted to make sure the neighborhood
is comfortable with the trail There are no significant obstacles to completion of this
trail section.
