11

Amanda Welliver – Welliver joined NWHP as our Communications Coordinator in 2011 where
she is in charge of NWHP’s communications and marketing functions. Welliver came to NWHP
with over 15 years of experience in this field include working for the Minnesota Senate and the
Minnesota Association of Realtors.
Mekonnen Kumela – Accounting Assistant – Kumela recently joined NWHP as an Accounting
Assistant. Kumela has similar work experience at several organizations, both in the United
States and abroad. Mekonnen has an active CPA license.
Pricing and Term
NWHP would charge the City of Little Canada a flat fee for each closed loan. While NWHP is
willing to negotiate the agreed upon rate, our preferred pricing structure would be as follows:
- $25 application fee per loan paid by the customer at the time of loan application.
- 9% (of total loan amount) administration fee for Little Canada’s down payment
programs for all loans closed.
- 10% (of total loan amount) administration fee for Little Canada’s home improvement
programs to be paid by the City of Little Canada for the first five (5) combined loans
closed for these programs during a calendar year.
- 12% (of total loan amount) administration fee for Little Canada’s home improvement
programs to be paid by the City of Little Canada for any additional home improvement
loans closed after the initial five (5) combined loans during a calendar year.
- $75 for each application that will not close because the applicants have been denied or
are no longer pursuing financing through this program.
An optional service we provide to the City of Shoreview is construction consultations services
for residents not seeking to obtain a loan. Below is a basic fee structure for this service:
- Little Canada shall pay the Consultant a fee of $30 for each over the phone or drop-in
construction consultation visit.
- Little Canada shall pay the Consultant a fee of $250 for each initial on -site construction
consultation visit. Little Canada shall pay the Consultant an hourly fee of $50/hour for
each additional hour spent with a customer or following-up on a customer request
following the initial on-site visit.
NWHP would prefer a three year term for this contract but would be willing to negotiate
regarding this matter. NWHP would be open to a longer term if the City of Little Canada would
include a pricing review during the extended term. NWHP would also be open to a fee
structure in which the borrower pays all or a portion of the above fee, which could be income
based.

14
