MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 23, 2002 <br />CANCELLING THE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2002 REGULAR <br />COUNCli, MEETING AND RESCHEDULING THAT MEETING TO <br />WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2002; <br />CANCELLING THE DECEMBER II AND DECEMBER 25, 2002 <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS"AND SCHEDULING ONE <br />REGULAR COUNCIL. MEETING IN DECEMBER FOR TUESDAY, <br />DECEMBER l7, 2002; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Montour, Scalze, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Fahey reminded the general public that the City's Truth In Taxation Hearing wilt be <br />held on Monday, December 2"`~, at 7:00 p.m. <br />SHERMAN The City Administrator reported that the City has executed a demolition and <br />ASSOCIATES asbestos abatement agreement for the Venetian Inn site. The development agreement <br />for redevelopment of this site should be executed within the next few days. <br />Demolition of the Venetian building is tentatively scheduled for Monday, November <br />4"'. The Council instructed staff to schedule a groundbreaking ceremony for the new <br />senior housing project at the time that demolition of the Venetian building begins. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2002-10-251-AD.IOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Montour, Scalze, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0).
