It was noted that <br />while turf restoration is underway, efforts will be made to prohibit <br />the use of this field. <br />The Administrator reviewed the Infrastructure Capital <br />Improvement Fund #450 in detail as well as the Park Land <br />Acquisition Fund #456. <br />In reviewing the Water Fund #601, the Administrator noted that no <br />water rate increase appears to be necessary. This is largely due to <br />the addition of Schroeder Milk as a customer and the volume of <br />water that they purchase. In reviewing the Sewer Fund #602, the <br />Administrator indicated that a sewer rate increase may be <br />necessary. Met Council Environmental Services has passed on a <br />5.7% increase to the City. .However, further analysis of these <br />funds and water and sewer rates will occur early in the year with <br />staff bringing to the Council water and sewer rate <br />recommendations for 2003. <br />The Administrator reviewed the Water/Sewer Capital Replacement <br />Fund #602 budget noting that revenues for this fund come from <br />funding the majority of depreciation from the water and sewer <br />systems. This fund has assisted the City in keeping its utility <br />system in good operating order. <br />Fahey noted that the City will be conducting its Truth In Taxation <br />Hearing on Monday, December 2"`~ at 7 p.m. Formal ado~tion of <br />the 2003 Budget will occur at the Council's December 17" regular <br />meeting. <br />There being no further business, the workshop meeting was <br />adjourned at 7:20 p.m. <br />C "'-- <br />~~ ~~ <br />Mich el I.
