The AFSA school site will, however, add 110 inbound trips and 70 outbound to <br />the I-35E Southbound Ramps/Little Canada Road/County Drive system of intersections during <br />the AM peak hour. Thus, an AM peak hour intersection capacity analysis was conducted to <br />determine how the intersection would perform with the additional traffic. <br /> <br />These additional AM peak hour trips were distributed based on data provided by the AFSA <br />transportation operations manager. These data indicated the routes parents would take as <br />they drive their students to school: approximately 40 percent would approach the school from <br />north of Little Canada Road, approximately 15 percent from west of Country Drive and I-35E, <br />and approximately 45 percent from south of Little Canada Road. Traffic assignments were then <br />completed to add the trips to the system of intersections.
