MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />December 17, 2002 <br />provided an "E" rating indicating that the Administrator is strong in this area and the <br />City benefits from his activities above and beyond his job. <br />Next rated was Professional/Personal Development and the Mayor provided an "M" <br />rating. He noted that the Administrator has less time to devote to this area than to <br />others but still stays up on other issues in his field. Scalze provided an "E" rating <br />noting that the staff works well together. Montour provided an "E" rating stating that <br />the Administrator's leadership has brought the City into the 20°i century in terms of <br />service and technology. Anderson provided an "M" rating indicating that staff <br />appeals to be well directed and motivated. He suggested that the Administrator <br />continue to look for professional and personal develop opportunities for himself and <br />his staff. He commended the Administrator on his restructuring of the Parks and <br />Public Works Department to better meet the needs of the City. <br />The Council discussed the City Administrator's compensation package and it was <br />their consensus that he is provided with $10,000 in additional compensation for 2002. <br />They further agreed that his 2003 compensation be $87,550 ($82,550 base salary, <br />plus $5,000 in deferred compensation). <br />There being no further business, the workshop meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m. <br />~~ ~ <br />Mich el I.
