MINUTES OF TIIE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 17, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 17th day of <br />December, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Michael I. Hanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Mr. Greg Schroeder <br />Mr. Jeremy Brodin <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />BEVERLY Mayor Fahey, on behalf of the City Council and City Staff, <br />SCALZE acknowledged outgoing Council Member Beverly Scalze for her <br />unwavering dedication and hard work as a Little Canada Council Member <br />since 1979. Fahey stated that he will miss the great discussions and <br />debates that he and Bev have had as Council Members over the years, and <br />he has the utmost respect for Bev. She is a truly outstanding City servant; <br />and as for her motivation and passion in serving the City, there has been <br />no one better. Fahey reminisced about some of the tough issues that the <br />Council faced during Bev's tenure, and acknowledged her approach in <br />addressing these issues. Fahey noted that Bev's service to the City has <br />always been for all the right reasons, and she has been a great Council <br />Member for all the years she has served. Fahey presented Bev with a <br />plaque on behalf of the City and thanked her for her service to Little <br />Canada. <br />Scalze thanked the Mayor for the beautiful plaque, but stated that the <br />plaque was no more beautiful than the words he stated.
