MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 29, 2018 Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2018-10-225 —APPROVE THE 2019-2021 AGREEMENT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES WITH THE RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. At this point in the meeting, the City Council temporarily adjourned and reconvened as the Economic Development Authority. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2018-10-226 — RECESSING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND CONVENING AS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. APPOINTING The City Cleric explained that the City Administrator is appointed as the CHRISTOPHER assistant treasurer and secretary of the Economic Development Authority, HEINEMAN TO and since there is now a new City Administrator, Christopher Heineman THE ECONOMIC should be appointed to the EDA to replace Joel Hanson. DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2018-10-227 —APPOINTING CHRISTOPHER HEINEMANAS THE ASSISTANT TREASURER AND SECRETARY OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT A UTHORITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer Ayes (5). EDA CORPORATE The City Cleric explained that the City has been negotiating the sale of the RESOLUTION two cell tower leases on 53 South Owasso Boulevard with Crown Castle, RELATIVE TO and in finalizing this process, they asked for a corporate resolution THE SALE OF granting authority to negotiate the sale and authorizing the execution of CELL TOWER sale documents.
