STAFF REPORT <br />TO:President Keis and Officers of the Economic Development Authority <br />FROM:Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br />DATE:October 26, 2018 <br />RE:EDA Corporate Resolution Relative to Sale of Cell Towers Leases <br />As you know, we have been negotiating the sale of the two cell tower leases on 53 South <br />Owasso Boulevard with Crown Castle. In finalizing this process, they asked for a corporate <br />resolution granting authority to negotiate the sale and authorizing the execution of sale <br />documents. The President and Secretary of the EDA would be the authorized parties to <br />execute documents on behalf of the EDA. The attached resolution had been adopted in March <br />2018 with Joel Hanson listed as the Assistant Treasurer and Secretary of the EDA, and <br />authorizing Mr. Hanson to negotiate and execute the sale documents. With the previous action, <br />the EDA appointed the new City Administrator, Christopher Heineman, as the Assistant <br />Treasurer and Secretary of the EDA. This resolution should be re-adopted to give Mr. <br />Heineman the authority to complete the sale of the cell tower leases. <br />Staff recommends the EDA adopt the attached resolution giving Christopher Heineman <br />authorization to negotiate and sign and execute all documents related to the sale of the two <br />cell tower leases located at 53 South Owasso Boulevard.
