Footwear is to be replaced on an as-needed basis, with the <br />determination of need to be made by the Public Works Superintendent Director and Parks & <br />Recreation Director. When possible, employees should keep an older, yet functional, pair of <br />safety boots at the shop to be utilized for tasks such as blacktopping. In no case will the per <br />employee reimbursement of up to $200 occur more often than once per year. Employees may use <br />this allowance to purchase winter boots only if they are steel-toed. Regular, non-steel-toed winter <br />boots shall be purchased at the employee’s expense. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
