Archery
The city teams up with the Bwana Archery store located in the City of Little Canada. They
supply the instructor and all equipment. This program is ran during the summer months and is
still very popular with the youth.
Skating Lessons
Skating lessons is an activity that is still popular with the youth. In the past few years we have
had hockey players from the local high school give the lessons to the younger kids.
Adult Programs
Defensive Driver
The defensive Driver program has been around for quite a while and is still very popular with the
55+ age group. We now run 2-8hr classes and 6-4hr classes throughout the year. The class is also
available online only recently in the past few years. We keep the cost down, so it is more a more
attractive price and class to attend.
MPMT
The Marketplace morning talks is again a program that has been around since 2003. This
program meets once a month and each month there is a different health topic or significant topic
for the seniors in our community. We partner with Roseville Area Seniors, Lyngblomsten, and
Estates at Roseville to make this program work. By the numbers we can see this is a popular
program.
Adult Volleyball & Basketball
These programs have been on and off at times. It seems if we find a group of people or friends
that are committed to meeting each week it works for a season or two, keeping the group
together and continuing year after year doesn’t seem to work.
Adult Pickleball
This is a new sport that is just becoming popular with seniors and adults. We ran a spring and fall
pickleball program that as it continued it has become a successful program.

ATTACHMENTS:
• Little Canada Program Offerings PowerPoint Presentation
