MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 24, 2019 <br />CTV The Parks & Rec/Community Services Manager reported that this is a <br />NEIGHBORHOOD follow up to the discussion that was had at the City Council meeting on <br />NETWORK March 27, 2019, in regards to prioritizing and determining what events <br />PROGRAMMING should be covered by CTV and the cost of having CTV cover those events. <br />He explained that CTV has added the 5K Sap Run on May 4 and the <br />Spooner Park Playground Community Build on June 22 and 23 to their <br />calendar and will provide production services per our contract of the <br />Neighborhood Network Services. He stated that from the list that was <br />provided to the Council, staff was able to come Lip with an estimated <br />duration of each completed event and obtain a quote for services from' <br />CTV. He stated that preliminary discussions with Canadians Days <br />Committee and the LCRA about productions of their events and they have <br />indicated that at this time they will be putting 'their resources elsewhere. <br />He noted that there may be an opportunity to do some video production in- <br />house, although a new computer and editing software would be needed. He <br />stated that due to staff changes, there is about a $26,000 savings for 2019 <br />from the cable fund at this point. <br />The Council discussed options for video productions this year. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 019-4-50 — APPR 0 VE PR OCEEDING WITH <br />THE 2019 VIDEO PRODUCTIONS UP TO A COST OF $8500 . <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NEW COUNCIL & The Community Services stated that he received a bid for $400 to do head <br />STAFF PHOTOS shots of the Council and department heads in order to have quality photos <br />and asked if the Council was supportive of doing this. There was Council <br />consensus to move forward with new photos of the Council and City Staff. <br />ADJOURN There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:32 p.m. <br />Jolp. .
