As you are aware, the Contractor for the project is Standard Contracting, Inc. <br />The total amount earned by the Contractor on this partial pay estimate is $81,910.96. <br />Subtracting 5% retainage of $4,095.55, the amount due the Contractor is $77,815.41. <br /> <br />This pay estimate includes payment for removals and grading activities at the park. It <br />also includes additional work for the removal of three large cottonwood trees that were <br />outside the original project limits. City Staff verified that the pricing was competitive by <br />requesting bids from a local tree contractor. Standard Contracting’s price was lower <br />than could otherwise be received. We have worked with Bolton and Menk who has <br />inspected the work performed by Standard Contracting and find it to be in compliance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.
