MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 25, 2019
City's bond attorney from Briggs & Morgan was involved with drafting
these documents.
McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOL UTION NO. 2019-9-113 — APPROVE THE PARTIAL
TERMINATION OF AND RELEASE OF PROPERTY FROM
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT, TERMINATION OF ASSESSMENT
AGREEMENT AND TERMINATION OF PURCHASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE VILLAGE AT LITTLE CANADA LLC; AND THE FORM
OF CERTIFICATE OF RELEASE FR OM DE VEL OPMENT
AGREEMENT AND ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE
VILLAGE AT LITTLE CANADA LLC
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0). Resolution adopted.
Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOL UTION NO. 2019-9-114 — ADJOURN THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT A UTHORITY MEETING AS WELL AS
RECONVENING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0). Resolution adopted.
COUNCIL McGraw reported that a citizen asked the City to consider putting holiday
COMMENTS decorations along Little Canada Road. The Parks & Rec/Community
Services Manager noted that adding electricity along the road was
considered when the sidewalk improvements near Rice Street were done,
but it was decided not to do that due to the cost. He noted that staff can
look into the cost again next year when the streetscape project is being
done.
Keis stated that a resident asked if the City would be doing a deer hunt this
year. The City Administrator reported that a deer count was done last year
and it was about the same number as the last several years, which was in
the low 20's, so staff has not planned to do a hunt this year. Fischer stated
that he has heard more complaints about turkeys in the last few years. The
City Administrator stated that a turkey hunt has never been done, but it
could be considered.
10
