MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 18, 2019 noted that a calendar was included in the staff report with the proposed meeting dates highlighted. The City Clerk stated that staff is also proposing the Council continue having a set regular monthly workshop on this schedule prior to the first meeting of the month. She noted that the workshop could be canceled if not needed. Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2019-12-148 — SET THE 2020 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS AS AMENDED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ORDINANCE 839, The City Clerk stated that staff is proposing the Fee Schedule be amended AMEND FEE to: SCHEDULE • Update cost for 3/" water meters & change other meter costs to call for price • Updating Trash & Recycling Disposal Fee Per Ton with 2020 Rates • Updated Electrical Permit Fees - these have not been increased since 2015 • Increasing some park shelter rental fees to help cover cost of new online park rental system • Remove the fee for a rental housing inspectors license — these inspections will no longer be done by independent contractors • Add $5.00 Contractor State License Verification Fee Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2019-12-149 ADOPT ORDINANCE 839, AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ORDINANCE 840, The Public Works Director reported that staff met with the Minnesota AMEND CITY CODE Pollution Control Agency in October to assess the City's Subsurface CH. 205, SANITARY Sewage Treatment System (SSTS) Program. He explained that part of the SEWER SYSTEM assessment was reading through the ordinance and suggesting changes and/or additions to make the ordinance easier to understand and follow. 7
