MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 18, 2019 <br />noted that a calendar was included in the staff report with the proposed <br />meeting dates highlighted. The City Clerk stated that staff is also <br />proposing the Council continue having a set regular monthly workshop on <br />this schedule prior to the first meeting of the month. She noted that the <br />workshop could be canceled if not needed. <br />Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2019-12-148 — SET THE 2020 CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS AS AMENDED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ORDINANCE 839, The City Clerk stated that staff is proposing the Fee Schedule be amended <br />AMEND FEE to: <br />SCHEDULE • Update cost for 3/" water meters & change other meter costs to call <br />for price <br />• Updating Trash & Recycling Disposal Fee Per Ton with 2020 <br />Rates <br />• Updated Electrical Permit Fees - these have not been increased <br />since 2015 <br />• Increasing some park shelter rental fees to help cover cost of new <br />online park rental system <br />• Remove the fee for a rental housing inspectors license — these <br />inspections will no longer be done by independent contractors <br />• Add $5.00 Contractor State License Verification Fee <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-12-149 ADOPT ORDINANCE 839, <br />AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ORDINANCE 840, The Public Works Director reported that staff met with the Minnesota <br />AMEND CITY CODE Pollution Control Agency in October to assess the City's Subsurface <br />CH. 205, SANITARY Sewage Treatment System (SSTS) Program. He explained that part of the <br />SEWER SYSTEM assessment was reading through the ordinance and suggesting changes <br />and/or additions to make the ordinance easier to understand and follow. <br />7 <br />
