MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 24, 2001 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 24'x' day of January, <br />2001 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Ms. Beverly Scalze <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Todd Holdman <br />Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-1-20 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE JANUARY3, 2001 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RENEWAL Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider renewal of the Pawn <br />OF PAWN Shop License and Second Hand Goods Dealers License for Lincoln Pawn <br />BROKERS & Jewelry located at 2750 Rice Street. <br />LICENSE - <br />LINCOLN <br />Scalze asked about the Automated Pawn System that was recommended <br />PAWN & by the Sheriffs Department. <br />JEWELRY <br />Randy Smothers, Lincoln Pawn, appeared before the Council and reported <br /> that he and the City Administrator will be meeting with the Sheriff's <br /> Department to discuss the system. <br />
