MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 14, 2001 <br />FRATTALONE The City Administrator reported that he has a meeting scheduled with Mr. <br />PROPERTY Frank Frattalone to discuss the value of his property for tomorrow afternoon. <br />The Administrator indicated that he would keep the Council updated on this <br />issue. <br />694 PROJECT The City Administrator indicated that he has had some discussions with MN <br />DOT on the potential for sound barriers as part of the 694 improvements. The <br />Administrator felt that the City should work aggressively on this issue and <br />send letters of support to the appropriate agencies. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2001-2-44 -INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO SEND THE LETTERS OF SUPPORT AND TAKE <br />THE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS NECESSARY REQUESTING THE <br />INSTALLATION OF SOUND BARRIERS ALONG THE TWIN LAKE <br />AREA AS PART OF THE 694 PRO.IECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Montour, Anderson, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TAX INCREMENT The City Administrator reported that there was a meeting with Ramsey <br />FINANCING County today on pending legislation and changes related to Tax Increment <br />Financing. The Administrator reported that he will prepare a summary of the <br />information and present it to the Council at its next meeting. <br />TOWN The Council reviewed staff's recommendation for a Town Meeting to be <br />MEETING held on Saturday, Apri121, 2001 from 9 a.m, until 10:30 a. m. The <br />Administrator indicated that he will advertise the town meeting in the <br />Roseville/Little Canada Review as will as the City's April newsletter and on <br />cable TV. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.SOLUTIONNO. 2001-2-45 -ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
