MINUTES CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 14, 2001 FRATTALONE The City Administrator reported that he has a meeting scheduled with Mr. PROPERTY Frank Frattalone to discuss the value of his property for tomorrow afternoon. The Administrator indicated that he would keep the Council updated on this issue. 694 PROJECT The City Administrator indicated that he has had some discussions with MN DOT on the potential for sound barriers as part of the 694 improvements. The Administrator felt that the City should work aggressively on this issue and send letters of support to the appropriate agencies. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2001-2-44 -INSTRUCTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SEND THE LETTERS OF SUPPORT AND TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS NECESSARY REQUESTING THE INSTALLATION OF SOUND BARRIERS ALONG THE TWIN LAKE AREA AS PART OF THE 694 PRO.IECT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5) Scalze, Montour, Anderson, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TAX INCREMENT The City Administrator reported that there was a meeting with Ramsey FINANCING County today on pending legislation and changes related to Tax Increment Financing. The Administrator reported that he will prepare a summary of the information and present it to the Council at its next meeting. TOWN The Council reviewed staff's recommendation for a Town Meeting to be MEETING held on Saturday, Apri121, 2001 from 9 a.m, until 10:30 a. m. The Administrator indicated that he will advertise the town meeting in the Roseville/Little Canada Review as will as the City's April newsletter and on cable TV. ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RE.SOLUTIONNO. 2001-2-45 -ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. Ayes (5) LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
