MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 11, 2001 <br />AMOUNT OF $185, 038.38 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER AND TA73L LNG ACTION ON BID ALTERNATE NO. 1 AND <br />NO. 2 AT THIS TIME <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC WORKS Council reviewed the report of the Public Works Director on potential <br />GARAGE sites for a new Public Works garage. It was the consensus of the Council to <br />table discussion of this matter for two weeks until the full Council is present. <br />However, the Council instructed the City Administrator to make any inquiries <br />he deems necessary to determine the availability of the potential sites listed in <br />the report. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESO7. UTION NO. 2001-4-87 -TABLING DISCUSSION OF <br />POTENTIAL PUBLIC WORKS SITES UNTIL THE APRIL 25, 2001 <br />REGULAR COUNCIL. MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Anderson, Scalze, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CODE The City Administrator reported that he is hopeful to have a recommendation <br />ENFORCEMENT relative to code enforcement to the Council in early May. <br />POSITION <br />VOUCHERS Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-4-88 -APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Montour, Scalze, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEMPORARY The Council reviewed the request of the Rosetown Playhouse for a <br />SIGN PERMIT waiver of temporary sign permit fees associated with the play they will <br />ROSETOWN be conducting at the Roseville Area Middle School. Scalze expressed <br />PLAYHOUSE concern for the precedent that a waiver for temporary sign permit fees may <br /> have. <br />
