MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL. <br />JULY 11, 2001 <br />Fahey felt that it may be reasonable to take over a private street if there was a <br />public safety need or the street met City standards and all setbacks were met. <br />Fahey agreed that a policy should be adopted. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 20(II-7--146 - ESTA1377SHING A POI ICY WHEREIN <br />THE CITY WOULD CONSIDER TAKING OVER REPAIR AND <br />MAINTENANCE OF PRI VATS STREETS BASED UPON AN EMINENT <br />PUJ3IICSAFETYNEED OR TILE OWNERS COULD SHOWA <br />REASONAI3l E DEVELOPMENT NF,ED PROVIDED THAT THE <br />STREET MET ALL.
