MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 25, 2001 <br />• Proclaiming Tuesday, August 7, 2001 as National Night Out Day in <br />Little Canada. <br />PARKS AWARD Mayor Fahey reported that Little Canada resident Pam Carson is the recipient <br />of an award from the Friends of Parks & Trails for her efforts to preserve parks <br />and recreation land. Mrs. Carson works to keep the Geivais Beach area clean <br />as well as educates youth and others to do the same. Fahey thanked Mrs. <br />Carson for her service to the community. <br />CUP - 2808 Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the application for a <br />NO>/L DRNT; - Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of a 25 foot by 34 foot garage <br />W~71,BST.ER for a total of 1,500 square feet of garage space at 2808 Noel Drive as requested <br />by Neil Webster. Pahey noted that both the City Planner an<9 the Planning <br />Commission have recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by MOntOln', the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Scalze pointed out that there could be no business use ofthis garage. She <br />asked if all vehicles that would be stored in the garage would be owned and <br />licensed by Webster. Webster replied that that was correct and that he <br />understood that there could be no business use of the garage. Scalze asked if <br />all the vehicles and equipment currently stored outside at 2808 Noel Drive <br />would now be stored inside. Resolution declared adopted. <br />
