However, if the building is leased by State Farm and is <br />predominantly office space, the parking will be needed. <br />Biagini reported that he discussed the bean situation with Jack Bougie and his <br />preference is that the wood chips be removed, poly put down to prevent weed <br />growth, and wood chips reinstalled. Bougie did not want to see the berm <br />flattened out. <br />Anderson asked if Biagini was agreeable to the installation of additional <br />handicapped parking including van accessible parking. Biagini reported that <br />he was. <br />M,r. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. AS <br />APPROVING AZTERNATE BU77 DING PLANS SHOULD STATE FARM <br />LEASE THF. BUILDING AS DESCRIBED BY MR BIAGINI, SUBJECT <br />TO APPROVAL OF THESE ALTERNATE PLANS BY THE CITY <br />PLANNER, BUILDING OFFICIA7., AND CITYADMINbSTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider an application for Variance <br />HEARING - from the Zoning Code requirement of a 10 foot minimum side yard <br />VARIANCE - setback allowing a new garage with a 5-foot setback at 2535 Stark Street <br />2535 STARK as requested by Tsgeroman Abraham. The Plam~ing Commission had <br />STREET - recommended approval on a 4 to 2 vote. The City Planner also recommended <br />ABRAHAM approval. <br />Fahey noted that a similar variance request was made for this property in '1986, <br />and that request was denied given there was uo hardship present. Fahey stated <br />that he did not see where circumstances have changed, and felt there was no <br />hardship in this current request. He felt the request was that the property <br />owner wanted to build a garage that was too large for the available space. <br />
