Ayes (5) Fahey, Montour, Scalze, LaValle, Anderson. Nays(0). Resolution declared adopted. 2002 Mayor Fahey reported that a woil<shop was held prior to the Council PRELIMINARY meeting to review the preliminary 2002 Budget. The preliminary levy BUDGET amount is proposed at 51,929,291 which represents a 3.98% in the gross levy increase from the 2001 Budget The City is required to certify a preliminary 2002 Budget by September 15, 2001 and a final levy by the end of December. Fahey noted that between now and December, the Council and staff will be working to make reduction in these preliminary numbers. The City Administrator recommended certification of a debt levy schedule for 2002. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL (ITION NO. 2011]-9-19G -CERTIFYING TIIE DEBT LEVY SCHEDDLE Ab' RECOIIIMENDED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. Nays(0). Resolution declared adopted.
