MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 10, 2001 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10`x' day of October, 2001 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said <br />City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Council Member Ms. Beverly Scalze <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRI/SENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Public Works Dir. Mr. Greg Schroeder <br />Fire Chief Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE,S'OI UTIONNO. 2001-10-223 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF TIIE <br />b'EPTEMI3ER 26, 2001 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SU73MITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LITTLE Tim Morelan, Fire Chief of the Little Canada Volunteer Fire Department, <br />CANADA appeared before the Council to report on the Department's fund-raising <br />FII2E DEPT. - efforts on behalf of the families of the New York Fire Fighters that were <br />FIRE DISASTER injured or killed in the September 11"'tragedy. The Fire Chief reported <br />FUND RAISING that the Department is collecting donations over the next five day period <br />EFFORTS at the following times and locations: <br />October 10°i -City Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. <br />
