Checks can be made payable to the <br />Little Canada Fire Department with the department in turn issuing one check to <br />the New York Fire Fighters. <br />VACATION - Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the vacation of the <br />LAKE STREET Lake Street right-of--way from Rice Street on the west to Park Street <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY on the east as petitioned for by Montanari Homes. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed <br />The Council reviewed the Public Works Director's recommendation for <br />retention of the appropriate easements to ensure that storm water can drain <br />from existing ponds in the area to the Park Street storm sewer system. The <br />City Administrator recommended that the vacation be contingent upon the <br />retention of necessary easements. The Administrator indicated that it may be <br />necessary to define the inlet to the storm sewer pipe to describe the easement. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 2001-I0-224 -VACATING THE I AKE STREET <br />ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM RICE STREET TO PARK STREET <br />CONTINGENT UPON THE RETENTION OF THE APPROPRIATE <br />DRAINAGE AND PONDING EASEMENTS AS DETERMINED <br />NECESSARY73Y CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />REZONING - Mayor Fahey opened the continuation of Public Hearing to consider the <br />3203 COUNTRY request of Christ Community Church for rezoning of property located at <br />DRIVE -CHRIST 3203 Country Drive from Business-Warehousing (B-W) to Public (P). <br />COMMUNITY Fahey pointed out that since the last meeting staff met with representatives <br />
