The City Administrator noted
that the County is currently bidding the project and would like to offer
contractors the option of working on Sunday's in order to speed up the project.
However, the County feels it is unlikely that a contractor would take advantage
of this option given issues with payment of overtime.
It was noted that the Arcade Street bridge is located in the City of Maplewood,
and Maplewood will also go through a process for considering an exception to
their noise ordinance.
There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this
matter.
Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Fahey, the public review was closed.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOI.
