MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCLL <br />OCTOBER 24, 2001 <br />The City Administrator felt that there were some options on the table if the <br />City had enough information to support its position. He indicated, however, <br />that without the study nothing would move forward. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2001-10-246 -APPROVING THE PROPOSAL OF <br />THE CITYENGINEER TO CONDUCT A DRAINAGE STUDY OF THE <br />SCULLEY AREA AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $7, 500.00 AS <br />RECOMMENDED ]3Y THE CITYADMINLSTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FIRE The City Administrator reviewed his recommendation for a warranty roof <br />DEPARTMENT inspection for the Little Canada Fire Station as proposed by Inspeo, Inc. <br />ROOF at a cost of $450.00. <br />INSPECTION <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESO7 UTIONNO. 2001-10-247-APPROVING THE QUOTE OF <br />INSPEC, INC. FOR A WARRANTY ROOF INSPECTION AT TILE <br />LITTLE CANADA FIRE STATION AT A COST OF $450.00 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Montour, LaValle, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STARK The City Administrator recommended that the Council authorize a <br />STREET feasibility study for the improvement of Stark Street given its present <br />condition. He noted that once the study is completed, a neighborhood meeting <br />will be held to present the results of the study to the affected property owners. <br />As in the past if there is strong opposition to the road improvement, it can be <br />delayed for a period of time until maintenance becomes an overwhelming <br />issue. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTIONNO. 2001-10-248-AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ENGINEER TO PREPARE A FEAS7137LITY REPORT FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF STARK STREET FROM COUNTY ROAD C TO <br />DEMONT ,STREET <br />
