MINUTES CITY COUNCLL OCTOBER 24, 2001 The City Administrator felt that there were some options on the table if the City had enough information to support its position. He indicated, however, that without the study nothing would move forward. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2001-10-246 -APPROVING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CITYENGINEER TO CONDUCT A DRAINAGE STUDY OF THE SCULLEY AREA AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $7, 500.00 AS RECOMMENDED ]3Y THE CITYADMINLSTRATOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FIRE The City Administrator reviewed his recommendation for a warranty roof DEPARTMENT inspection for the Little Canada Fire Station as proposed by Inspeo, Inc. ROOF at a cost of $450.00. INSPECTION Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESO7 UTIONNO. 2001-10-247-APPROVING THE QUOTE OF INSPEC, INC. FOR A WARRANTY ROOF INSPECTION AT TILE LITTLE CANADA FIRE STATION AT A COST OF $450.00 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5) Scalze, Montour, LaValle, Anderson, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. STARK The City Administrator recommended that the Council authorize a STREET feasibility study for the improvement of Stark Street given its present condition. He noted that once the study is completed, a neighborhood meeting will be held to present the results of the study to the affected property owners. As in the past if there is strong opposition to the road improvement, it can be delayed for a period of time until maintenance becomes an overwhelming issue.
