Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMENT Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider an amendment to a <br />TO CUP - Conditional Use Permit to allow the expansion of open and outdoor <br />182 RYAN LANE- storage to include up to ten (10) vehicles at 182 Ryan Lane requested <br />DAVID EVANS by David Evans. Fahey noted that the Planning Commission and the City <br />Planner have recommended approval subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in his report. Fahey also <br />noted discussion about the curbed island area to be installed along Spruce <br />Street, and the Public Works Director's recommendation that the island be <br />installed with curbing on the building side of the island and tapering to the <br />street. "fhe Public Works Director also recommended that a large stone in the <br />boulevard area next to the curb at the intersection of Ryan Lane and Spruce <br />Street be moved to a minimum of five feet from the cm'b lines of each street. <br />Scalze suggested that a time limit be imposed for how long a vehicle can be <br />stored on the property. The City Administrator noted the recommendation of <br />the Planning Commission that vehicles stored on the property must be <br />licensed. "I'he Administrator agreed that a time limits on storage would also be <br />beneficial. <br />The City Planner reported that the City's Code Enforcement Ot~'icer is vigilant <br />about inspecting outdoor storage on properties. If the Officer notes vehicles <br />being stored for a long period of time, he would hack this storage and issue a <br />citation, if necessary, to force removal of the vehicles. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr, LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RLSO/_ UTION NU. 21/01-! 2-277 - APPRO V/NG %'HE AMENDMENT TO <br />COND/TIONA/.
