MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 5, 2000 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />GUERINBUDGET The City Administrator reported that he has sent out requests for <br />POWER real estate listing proposals for the Guerin/Budget Power property. <br />PROPERTY He also noted that he has extended the deadline for submission of those <br />proposals to January 21s`. The Administrator recommended that the <br />Council call for a workshop meeting at which time they would review the <br />proposals. He also noted that he received a call from a party interested in <br />a two-acre site to develop a 30,000 square foot office building. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. Resolution declared adopted. <br />STRATEGIC The City Administrator recommended that the Council hold a workshop <br />PLANNING to plan a strategic planning session. Council agreed, and it was suggested <br />SESSION that the goals list and notes from the last session be reviewed at that <br />workshop. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-I-7-CALLINGA WORKSHOPMEETING <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2000 AT 6: 00 P.M. Resolution declared adopted. <br />STOP SIGN The City Administrator reviewed his memo dated December 30'x' <br />PLACEMENT regarding a review of stop sign placement within the City. Fahey pointed <br />out that the placement of stop signs at the intersection of Jackson Street <br />
