MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 9, 2000 <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted <br />PRECISION The City Administrator recommended approval of a purchase concept <br />TREE/ to acquire the Schreier property on behalf of Precision Tree. <br />SCHREIER The Administrator reported that the City Attorney has reviewed the <br />PROPERTY concept and is comfortable with it and has indicated that there is no risk to <br />the City. <br />Morelan asked if Precision Tree will be able to develop the site for their <br />use while complying with the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance. The <br />City Administrator reported that he has informed Precision Tree that the <br />City will not be abandoning the I-P Zoning District standards for their <br />development. The Administrator felt that compliance will be a challenge <br />for Precision Tree, but they are aware of the I-P standards. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RF..SOLUTION NO. 2000-Z-44 -DIRECTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TD PREPARE A PURCHASE AGREEMENT TO <br />ACQUIRE THE SCHREIER PROPERTY ON73EHAI,F OF <br />PRECISION TREE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON ]3EHALF <br />OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL FOR TIF The City Administrator recommended that the Council call for a <br />HEARING - Public Hearing to consider modifications to TIF District 3-2 for the <br />MASTERPIECE Masterpiece Homes project on Little Canada Road and Jackson Street. <br />HOMES The City Administrator noted that because of the poor soils on this <br />property, the proposed townhome project had to be scaled back from the <br />34 units originally proposed to 22 units. TIF assistance would allow the <br />project to work. The Administrator also noted that the City will also be <br />getting more park land as a result. <br />t, <br />
