MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MARCH 22, 2000 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (2) Morelan, Scalze, Nays (1) LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. LIQUOR The Council reviewed the staff's recommendation to call for a public LICENSE hearing to consider increasing the On-Sale Liquor and On-Sale Wine INCREASES license fees. Mr. LaValle stated that liquor license fees are a form of taxation and he would need to see justification for the license fee increase. He requested that City staff obtain reports from the Sheriff's Department on the number of calls at each of the City's liquor establishments. TWIN LAKE The City Administrator reported that he has not received a response from PINES - the City of Vadnais Heights relative to the joint powers agreement for the JOINT Twin Lake Pines development. It was the consensus of the Council to POWERS reserve discussion of this matter until the City has comments back from AGREEMENT Vadnais Heights. MAY & JUNE Scalze directed staff to schedule discussion relative to the rescheduling of COUNCIL the May and Tune City Council meetings until the April 12°i Council MEETINGS meeting.
