MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 12, 2000 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 2000-4-86 -DECLARING THAT NORTHEAST <br />RESIDENCE WOULD I3E ALLOWED TD COMMENCE SITE <br />CLEARING AND PRELIMINARY73UILDING LAY-OUT FOR <br />THEIR RESPITE HOME 73UT THAT NO FOOTING WORK WOULD <br />BE ALLOWED TO COMMENCE ON THE PRO.IECT UNTIL THE <br />LAND SALE WITH THE ST. PAUL 13OAR7) OF WATER <br />COMMISSIONERS IS FINALIZED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />VACATION OF Fahey opened the continuation of public hearing to consider the vacation <br />CERTAIN of certain alleyways and Day Avenue. It was noted that there is no <br />ALLEYWAYS & objection from the owners of Terrace Heights Mobilehome Park to the <br />DAY AVENUE vacation. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The City Administrator reported that the Public Works Director has <br />identified that there is storm sewer in a section of Day Avenue. The City <br />will ensure that the proper easements are retained for this sewer. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 2000-4-87 -APPROVING THE VACATION OF <br />CERTAIN ALLEYWAYS AS WELL. AS DAYAVENUE RETAINING <br />TIIE NECESSARY DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AS <br />RECOMMENDED 13Y CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
