MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 9, 2000 <br />The Council also discussed banner arms on the street lights, and it was <br />suggested that flag holders be installed on the lights. Council also felt that <br />banner holders may be a good option to have on the street lights at the <br />intersection points along Little Canada Road. <br />Council requested that additional information/examples of the various <br />amenities discussed be presented to them for review at their next meeting. <br />PUD The City Administrator reviewed the City Planner's recommendation for <br />CLARIFICATION consideration of PUD District amendments at the Rice Street/Little <br />Canada Road area relating to multiple family housing. It was noted the <br />Planning Commission will discuss this issue at their May 11°i meeting, <br />and a public hearing will be held by the Council on May 23`a <br />GOOSE Scalze reported that at today's meeting of the Multi-Housing Coalition <br />CONTROL the issue of goose control was discussed, with representatives of the <br />various multi-family housing units in the City indicating that there is a <br />problem with geese in the City. Scalze suggested that if the City proceeds <br />with the contract with the U of M for goose control, that these multi- <br />family housing complexes participate in the cost. It was noted that the <br />City should also have some assurance from those that agree to participate, <br />that they will, in fact, pay their share when necessary. <br />The City Administrator indicated that he will contact the multi-family <br />housing complexes about their participation. <br />ADJOURN Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE,SOI UTIONNO. 2000-5-IZS-ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0).
