MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 9, 2000 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />JOINT POWERS The City Administrator reviewed a proposed Joint Powers Agreement <br />AGREEMENT - with the City of Vadnais Heights relating to the Twin Lake Pines <br />TWIN LAKE development. He indicated that the Vadnais Heights City Council will <br />PINE5 be considering this agreement at their next meeting. The Administrator <br />further reported that Gerry Urban is not sure what their Council's reaction <br />will be to the timeline established in the agreement for completion of a <br />municipal water system in the Twin Lake area. <br />The City Attorney reported that the Agreement is in acceptable format. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2000-5-122 -APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS" <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS <br />RELATING TO THE TWIN LAKE PINES DEVELOPMENT AS <br />PRESENTED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMEND The Council reviewed the Deputy Clerk's report dated May 5, 2000 <br />MUNICIPAL recommending an amendment to the Municipal Code deleting license <br />CODE fees from the Code as well as adoption of a business license fee <br />RELATING schedule. <br />TO BUSINESS <br />LICENSE Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />FEES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000-5-T23 -AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS <br /> OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br /> FEES OF REGULATED ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESSES AS WELL <br /> AS ADOPTING THE BUSINESS LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE <br /> RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYSTAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
