MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 9, 2000 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. JOINT POWERS The City Administrator reviewed a proposed Joint Powers Agreement AGREEMENT - with the City of Vadnais Heights relating to the Twin Lake Pines TWIN LAKE development. He indicated that the Vadnais Heights City Council will PINE5 be considering this agreement at their next meeting. The Administrator further reported that Gerry Urban is not sure what their Council's reaction will be to the timeline established in the agreement for completion of a municipal water system in the Twin Lake area. The City Attorney reported that the Agreement is in acceptable format. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2000-5-122 -APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS" AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS RELATING TO THE TWIN LAKE PINES DEVELOPMENT AS PRESENTED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. AMEND The Council reviewed the Deputy Clerk's report dated May 5, 2000 MUNICIPAL recommending an amendment to the Municipal Code deleting license CODE fees from the Code as well as adoption of a business license fee RELATING schedule. TO BUSINESS LICENSE Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: FEES RESOLUTION NO. 2000-5-T23 -AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FEES OF REGULATED ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESSES AS WELL AS ADOPTING THE BUSINESS LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYSTAFF The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
