MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 25, 2000
Conroy asked what the fee was for the Consumption & Display License
that the previous rental hall operator had. The Deputy Clerk reported that
a Consumption & Display License has a $300 annual fee.
Tom Roycraft, 2910 Arcade Street, asked about parking around the Little
Canada Road/McMenemy Street intersection and the impact that overflow
parking from the rental hall would have on the intersection.
Fahey indicated that the expectation would be that parking for the rental
hall would occur in their parking lot. If not, patrons at the rental hall
would have to comply with parking restrictions that are posted.
Adamson reported that there are 75 parking spots in the parking lot.
Estimating 3 people per vehicle, this would provide for a capacity at the
rental hall of 225. Conroy guessed that the building capacity was posted
at 325. Fahey indicated that the Fire Marshal would look at the building
and determine whether or not the proper occupancy was posted.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOI.
