MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 20, 2000 <br />CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON <br />BEHALF OF TIIE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council discussed the need to have a workshop meeting with <br />representatives of the Sheriffls Department, and it was the consensus of <br />the Council to discuss scheduling a time and date for the workshop at the <br />January 3"~ meeting. <br />RUSH LINE Council discussed the need for the City's formal involvement in the Rush <br />TASK FORCE Line Taslc Force given the impact that commuter rail and improved bus <br />service could have on Little Canada. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2000-12-300 -RATIFYING THE JOINT <br />POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE RUSHLINE CORRIDOR TASK <br />FORCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolrrtion declared adopted. <br />SEWER & The Cowicil reviewed the recommendation of the Public Works <br />WATER Director relative to revisions to the City's Sewer and Water Ordinances <br />ORDINANCE as well as adoption of a separate related fee schedule. Morelan suggested <br />that the fine for violation of lawn sprinkling ban be maintained at "up to" <br />$700 rather than the $700 stated in the proposed fee schedule. The Public <br />Works Director indicated that he would make that change. <br />The City Attorney indicated that he reviewed the ordinances changes and <br />had no comments or concerns. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 521- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS <br />205 AND 1 G01 OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL CODE <br />RELATING TO TIIE CITY'S SANITARYSEWER SYSTEMAND <br />MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM <br />12 <br />
