MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 20, 2000 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2000-12-297 -CALLING THE FOLLOWING <br />IMPROVEMENT HEARINGS FOR JANUARY 17, 2001: <br />''°AUSTRALIAN AVENUE AND BLUWOOD AVENUE FROM <br />LAICESHORE TO THEIR WESTERLY TERMINATIONS - <br />G:30 P.M.; <br />''°'SEXTANT AVENUE - 7:15 P.M.; <br />^~TWIN LAKE AREA - 8: 00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that City staff survey the Twin Lake <br />neighborhood as well as get a recommendation from the Sheriffls <br />Department relative to the no parking issue. This matter will then be <br />considered by the City Council at its January 241h meeting. <br />PRECISION Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />TREE- <br />LAND RESOLUTION NO. 2000-I2-298-AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />PURCHASE ADMINISTRATOR TO DRAFT THE PRECISION TREE LAND <br />AGREEMENT AS OUTLINED IN THE CITYADMINISTRATOR'S <br />LETTER DATED DECEMBER I5, 2000 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RAMSEY The City Administrator presented athree-year contract with the Ramsey <br />COUNTY County Sheriffls Department. Council reviewed the contract and found <br />SHERIFF'S it to be acceptable. <br />CONTRACT <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-12-299 -APPROVING THE RAMSEY <br />COUNTY SHERIFF'S CONTRACT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE <br />CITYADMINISTRATOR AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND <br />I1 <br />
